About the Role:

Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to join our Rostered Fixed Plant Maintenance Crew on a lifestyle roster of Monday – Wednesday (3 days on, 4 off) – 12 hour shifts.

This is a DIDO role ex. Perth in the Southwest, with accommodation and meals provided for Perth metro-based employees.

As a Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker, you will be responsible for carrying out hands-on maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding across fixed plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance outcomes.

With operations across a broad range of customers, regions and commodities, no two days are ever the same — giving you the opportunity to broaden your technical experience across a diverse range of equipment.

Key Duties:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance, including breakdown repairs
• Work on crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps & more
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures
• Provide technical input, troubleshooting and support where required
• Drive productivity, quality workmanship and continuous improvement

What do I need to join?

• Experience working in mining or fixed plant maintenance environments
• Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
• Strong mechanical and communication skills
• Drivers Licence
• National Police Check within 6 months or willingness to obtain
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Motivated, professional and team-focused attitude
