About the Role:
Due to continued growth within the Rail Services Division, Mader Group have created a new opportunity for a Rail Coordinator.
This is a full-time, Perth Airport-based role with occasional travel to site.
We’re looking for someone who has built a strong career in an execution-focused superintendent or coordinator role and is now ready to step into a Perth-based leadership position.
You’ll be hands-on in helping scale one of Mader groups fastest growing divisions, leveraging your industry network and leadership skills to drive outcomes and grow the team.
You'll work across a diverse and complex scope of projects and services, playing a key role in both execution and business development.
This role offers career progression and leadership without losing your connection to site operations.
What will I be involved with?
- Coordination & Engagement with our site crews – being proactively involved with our crews with regular catch ups and seeing how you can best build your team
- Manage budgets, rosters and lead your team effectively
- Aiding in building your team from being involved in the recruitment process in interviewing and offer negotiations
- Support recruitment, from interviewing and offer negotiation to onboarding new team members
- Conduct regular site visits with clients & your team
- Tendering new maintenance packages
- Proactively developing client relations & seeing areas of growth in new markets
- Providing expertise on services available within the Group

What do I need?
- A strong background in a similar role within the Rail industry
- Supervisory experience advantageous
- Outstanding customer relations and people management skills
- Enthusiastic to win new business, build on relationships and execute plans
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- High-level communication and negotiating skills
- Experience in project estimation & quoting
- Ability to problem solve & make key decisions
- Sound knowledge utilising Microsoft Office Suite
- Competent conflict resolution skills
- Current car driver’s licence
