About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mader Group are currently seeking HD Fitters to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on for either a FIFO 2/1 roster working within the Pilbara or a Perth based 5/2 roster within a workshop.
Successful candidates will have experience working with foundation piling equipment, cranes, hammers & large civil marine machinery.
FIFO ex. Perth, interstate candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key duties:
- Service, repair and maintain piling rigs (e.g., Soilmec, Mait, Bauer rigs)
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on piling equipment
- Carry out scheduled maintenance (250hr, 500hr, 1000hr services, etc.)
- Inspect and repair hydraulic systems (hoses, pumps, motors, valves)
- Maintain diesel engines (Caterpillar, Cummins, Volvo, etc.)
- Repair undercarriage components (tracks, rollers, idlers)
- Support on drill tooling maintenance (augers, CFA tools, casings)
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks when required
- Conduct pre-start checks and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot rig breakdowns on-site and provide near-immediate rectification
- Assist with rig commissioning and decommissioning
- Maintain service logs, reports, and part usage
- Ensure compliance with site and OEM safety standards
- Operate cranes, forklifts, or rig auxiliary equipment within licence requirements
- Coordinate with rig operators and supervisors to minimise downtime

What do I need to join?
- Previous experience working with foundation piling equipment, cranes, large civil marine machinery or similiar
- Trade Certificate in Mobile Plant technology or similar
- Drivers Licence
- Dogman/Riggers ticket highly advantageous
- National Police Check within 3-6 months or willing to get
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
